Product description

Bring a sense of coolness and ease with Triveda’s Pitta Balancing Oil, a soothing herbal oil crafted to support daily self-massage practices, especially during warmer conditions or when seeking a more calming routine.

Formulated with coconut water and herbs such as Chandana (Sandalwood), Ushira (Vetiver), and Yashtimadhu (Licorice), this Ayurvedic oil is suited to qualities associated with Pitta. When used in massage, it provides a cooling and calming experience, supporting comfort in the body and a sense of relaxation.

Utpala and Dugdha contribute to the gentle, soothing nature of the oil, making it a refreshing addition to daily rituals. Applied regularly as part of Abhyanga, it promotes a feeling of calm, balance, and overall wellbeing.

Our oils are prepared using traditional Ayurvedic methods, with herbs processed into the base using classical techniques to create a rich formulation for external use. Due to the use of whole herbal ingredients, the oil has a naturally strong aroma. It can be diluted or blended with a preferred oil if desired.

If you are new to Ayurvedic oils, we recommend starting with the 100ml size to experience it as part of your routine.

Suggested use

Self-Massage or Abhyanga is an essential part of our Dina Charya or daily routines one of the most powerful techniques used in Ayurveda to promote good health.
Warm the required amount of oil to support nourishment and absorption. Apply generously into your whole body with firm, gentle pressure. Work your way from your hands and feet toward your heart, using long strokes on the limbs and circular strokes on the joints. Leave on for 15-20 minutes, then bathe/shower with warm water.
Can be diluted with a neutral carrier oil or blended with essential oils for fragrance.
Note: Be mindful as oil residue can stain clothing and flooring.
All oils make surfaces slippery and can be combustible. Use caution when drying or storing linens exposed to oils as they are potentially combustible when exposed to heat.
This oil can appear cloudy or become thicker during cooler temperatures.
Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight.

Contraindications

• For external use only
• Use with caution for those with skin and smell sensitivities.
• Avoid use on broken skin or wounds
